Pamela Druckerman wrote a fantastic piece in the New York Times entitled “What You Learn In Your Forties.” She imparts plenty of bullet points of wisdom in the article with one in particular that jumps out.
“Everyone is winging it, some just do it more confidently.”
This is in essence the starting premise of this site. No one is perfect, there are no adults — we are all just winging it. Accepting this can make a lot more pleasant It opens doors to happiness we might not otherwise see. No, it’s not the meaning of life or anything so grand. But it is a great starting place. So let’s start right here, right now, accepting that no one masters life — and as long as we are in it, we are indeed winging it.
